Nourishing Iftar by First Date

Book Now

A Nutritiously Crafted Ramadan Dinner | 10 March

Join us this Ramadan for a Nourishing Iftar, an intimate, community dining experience designed to gently restore the body while honouring food as ritual, memory, and care.

Hosted by Ziad, founder of First Date, this Iftar brings together seasonal ingredients, ancestral flavours, and modern nutritional thinking. The menu is vegetarian, thoughtfully balanced, and crafted to be comforting to allow the body to detox, heal and be nourished.

This Nourishing Iftar is designed around the physiology of fasting and the emotional significance of Ramadan.

Expect a calm, welcoming atmosphere, a paced dining flow, and food that supports digestion, energy, and connection.

✨ About the Host Ziad / First Date✨

I’m Ziad, founder of First Date, a healthy bakery concept rooted in care, balance, and nutrition.

At First Date, I craft wholesome, feel-good sweet treats that are:

  • Sweetened naturally with dates

  • Free from refined sugar

  • Made in small batches

  • Minimal in ingredients

  • Free from added preservatives

Why dates (not sugar)?

I use ground dates and date glaze made from whole dates, which retain natural fibre, minerals, and antioxidants. This offers:

  • A gentler impact on blood sugar

  • More sustained energy

  • Sweetness that respects the body

My approach to this Iftar follows the same philosophy: indulgence without excess, nourishment without restriction.
