A relaxed Friday-night tasting of exceptional Italian cheeses, thoughtfully paired and expertly guided.
Join us for Cheese, Please!, a relaxed and welcoming Italian cheese tasting hosted by local cheesemonger Lucy Cheese at Something Good Workshops in Deptford.
This Friday-night event is all about slowing down, tasting thoughtfully and enjoying great company. Lucy will guide you through five Italian cheeses, sharing stories about where they come from, how they’re made, and how to taste them properly — including one special cheese that features all three types of milk.
Each cheese is paired with a complementary drink, with a focus on enhancing flavour rather than formality. You’ll also receive a beautifully illustrated A3 table mat to doodle on during the tasting, which folds into your own take-home tasting notes booklet.
Perfect for foodies, couples, friends and small groups, this is a social, low-pressure way to learn something new while enjoying excellent cheese.
After the tasting finishes, you’re very welcome to stick around for more drinks or head out to explore Deptford Market Yard and the surrounding area, making it an easy and enjoyable way to spend your Friday evening.
