Join us at Something Good Workshops in Deptford for Good Wine, a relaxed, social evening where wine tasting and simple drawing exercises are woven together throughout.
You’ll be guided through an evening of generous pours by our in-house wine expert, Jack Wild. Expect a no-nonsense approach focused on helping you understand what you actually like, why you like it, and how to choose wines with confidence.
Between wines, we’ll ease into a series of light, hands-on drawing exercises, designed to loosen you up, wake up your senses, and have a bit of a giggle.
No drawing experience needed, this isn’t about making masterpieces, it’s about having fun, slowing down, and noticing more in what you’re tasting.

Cheese, Please! Paired Cheese and Wine Tasting
A relaxed Friday-night tasting of exceptional Italian cheeses, thoughtfully paired and expertly guided.
Join us for Cheese, Please!, a relaxed and welcoming Italian cheese tasting hosted by local cheesemonger Lucy Cheese at Something Good Workshops in Deptford.

Lucy will guide you through five Italian cheeses, sharing stories about where they come from, how they’re made, and how to taste them properly — including one special cheese that features all three types of milk.
Each cheese is paired with a complementary drink, with a focus on enhancing flavour rather than formality. You’ll also receive a beautifully illustrated A3 table mat to doodle on during the tasting, which folds into your own take-home tasting notes booklet.
Perfect for foodies, couples, friends and small groups, this is a social, low-pressure way to learn something new while enjoying excellent cheese.
