Discover the joy of printmaking in this six-week guided course, meeting once a week. You’ll get a broad introduction to four different print methods, followed by the chance to create a personal project of your own.
Across the first four weeks, you’ll learn the fundamentals of:
Gelli printing for playful, colourful monoprints
Tetrapak printing, using upcycled packaging for intaglio-style prints
Lino printing for bold, graphic relief designs
Cyanotype printing, a photographic sun-printing process
In the final two weeks, you’ll be supported to design and develop your own project using any combination of the techniques you’ve learned. Whether you’d like to create a series of prints, experiment with layering methods, or refine a single approach, you’ll have access to our tools and plenty of guidance.
This course is designed to give you both structure and creative freedom — learn the essentials, then put them into practice in your own way.
