We offer flexible 3-hour space hire slots at our venue above Deptford Market Yard - ideal for creative sessions, small socials, and relaxed gatherings.

You can hire the space solo, or collaborate with us for extra support - from materials and admin to tea, coffee or a well-timed gin and tonic.

We love working with other artists, makers and facilitators — especially if you're testing something new or want to ease into running sessions without going it alone.

Space hire FAQs

How many can you seat?

We host groups from 4-40 depending on the workshop.

There are 10 tables which comfortably seat 4 each and a range of chairs and stools - you are free to organise the space as best fits your workshop and the number of people you have joining you

What’s included?

During your 3 hour slot the space will be yours to use as you please, with a member of staff on hand to man the bar and serve refreshments.

If you’d like to use our tools or materials, let us know and we can incorporate that into our hiring rates. Usually basic tools (e.g. scissors, rulers) are free and materials come with a nominal fee.

Can we serve alcohol?

Our bar is an important element to how we keep the doors open and we have a great range of soft and alcoholic refreshments which are available as an add-on to your booking or can be purchased by guests on the day.

We ask that you don’t bring other drinks into our space, but you are welcome to bring in external catering if it’s pre-agreed

Is your space accessible?

There is step-free access to our studio from the lift at Platform 1 at Deptford Station as well as from the walkway that starts at the High Street.

We have a wheelchair ramp for our entrance, an accessible toilet and are entirely step free inside the studio.

Can I view the space?

Absolutely! We run a regular schedule of events on weekday nights and workshops over the weekend.

If you’d like to arrange a viewing and a chat prior to your booking get in contact to arrange a time - week day times are usually preferable but we’re quite flexible.

Set up and pack up

One of us will be available to help with set up of tables and chairs. If you require extra time to set up and back down outside of your allotted time please ask.

We ask that you return the space to similar state that it was provided in. If tables need covering (e.g. for messy workshops) you will need to provide this.
