Tetrapak Printmaking Workshop

Discover the magic of printmaking with an unexpected material, Tetrapak! In this hands-on three-hour London printing workshop, you’ll learn how to design, carve, and ink recycled Tetrapak cartons to create a unique series of prints.

You’ll be introduced to collagraph printmaking using Tetrapak (a type of drypoint etching), and guided through:

  • How to prepare and carve Tetrapak plates

  • Creating tone and texture

  • Designing modular image components

  • Planning compositions

  • Inking, wiping and printing using a printing press

Expect a relaxed and experimental session in a small group setting, so there’s time for 1:1 help and no waiting around at the press.

This is a brilliant introduction to sustainable printmaking techniques and a fun way to explore storytelling, composition, and visual rhythm.

What you'll get

  • All Tetrapak, mountboard, inks, tools, paper and press access

  • Guidance on composition, carving and tonal inking

  • Ideas for continuing your Tetrapak experiments at home
