Write Into Winter

As the colder, darker months arrive, winter can feel challenging, but it can also offer a gentle invitation to slow down, look inward, and nurture your inner world.

In this reflective and restorative writing workshop, we’ll explore what winter means to us through a range of creative writing exercises guided by your host Thymian Gadd. You’ll be encouraged to find warmth within, build resilience, and cultivate gratitude as you prepare your heart and mind for the season ahead.

Expect:

  • Creative writing prompts to connect with your inner landscape

  • Gentle reflective exercises to support emotional and spiritual care

  • Space to build personal writing rituals for winter

  • A cosy, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for taking a mindful pause

You’ll leave with a toolbox of writing practices to continue throughout the winter months, helping you check in with yourself, create inner warmth, and stay grounded.

Pricing — Pay What You Can

🍷 Drinks & Social Time
Our bar will be open throughout the session, so you can enjoy tea, wine, or a cosy winter drink as you write.
After the workshop, you're warmly invited to stay for a relaxed social. Chat, connect, and share ideas with fellow writers and creatives.

🕯️ Come as you are
Whether you journal often or are completely new to writing, this session is for anyone who wants to spend a cosy afternoon discovering how writing can nourish and support us through winter.
